I am quite happy with this results as all the signs met with my requirement when I enter the trade.

If only I could hold on a bit longer...but too bad, MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence) had cross each other. To me that is an exit signal not to be ignored & furthermore there is no clear indication that tells me otherwise.

How was it ??? did you make the right decision ??? I hope so...

Now then, let me tell you in the beginning of the week why I tell you to look into this particular USD/JPY pair.

It started with my blog post titled "Keep It Tight" & as mention in the blog, I have spotted a "Hanging Man" candlestick pattern, which to me is a significant signal for an entry order to sell & as you can see in the above chart, it did went down 50+ pips before bouncing back up, so hopefully, if you have placed a stop-loss order of more than 30+ pips above the "Hanging Man" candlestick pattern then you won't be stop out.From there onwards, prices will be in your favour.

But then again you might be asking yourself, who the hell is this layman & why is he so sure ???

Firstly it was the candlestick pattern that send us the signal to placed an entry order, secondly the stop-loss was not triggered & I believe anyone will placed their stop-loss at more than 30-40 pips respectively, thirdly why or how did I know that it prices will slide further ??? reason to it was simple, the 2nd "Hanging Man" candlestick appeared again (ref to above chart) & lastly if you follow my blog post title "Keep It Tight" Updated then you will know the answer to that...& mind you it did went down more than 40 pips below the 200 SMA that I have mention earlier.

As for the blog post title What do you think ???, notice how I "BLOW UP" the bottom words ??? it's just a gesture so that you can see clearly what I was hinting on...hehehehe...

Keep It Tight !!! Updated

Just an update on the current USD/JPY charts that I previously mention in my blog, "Keep It Tight". Look at the potential gains that it provide us if we took interest in learning the candlestick patterns, & mind you it's at "ZERO" cost !!!

By looking at the charts above, I believe that it will eventually break below the 200 SMA line, if it breaks, the price will slide down at least 40-50 pips more before it try to pull itself back up !!! so wait for it !!!

Although I am not into this currency pairs, hopefully it's beneficial to you...

Long-Legged Doji Pattern

Hello again,

What was supposed to be a "Hanging Man", in the end turn up o be a "Long-legged doji"


The Japanese say that whenever a Doji appears, always take notice. A well-founded rule of Candlestick followers is that when a Doji appears at the top of a trend, in an overbought area, sell immediately. Conversely, a Doji seen at the bottom of an extended downtrend requires buying signals the next day to confirm the reversal. Otherwise, the weight of the market could take the trend lower.

US NFA New Ruling - Reduce of leverage levels

Hi everyone,

Did you know about the new NFA ruling ???

Here is a simple rundown:

What are the new margin requirements?

CFTC approved NFA amendments to Section 12 of NFA rule book, which requires FDMs to collect a margin deposit of 1% of the notional value of the positions held in the US dollar, British pound, the Swiss franc, the Canadian dollar, the Japanese yen, the Euro, the Australian dollar, the New Zealand dollar, the Swedish krona, the Norwegian krone, and the Danish krone and 4% of the notional value of other positions.

This simply means that we will be required to put up more margin to open a new position or hold on to an existing position based on currency pair.

When does the new rule TAKE effect?

The NFA requires FDMs to comply by November 30th.

Heard that ED something..something is coming to town...guess what, why pay a lump sum of money to hear someone talk when you are better off funding your account & use your time wisely to make more money !!!

But then again, sorry to say this...there is always a *&^%$ who fall for this kinda shit !!! we layman always have to do it the other way around, make tonnes of money first !!! then go spend it in which ever way you deem fit.

Wake up people !!! earn your money first !!! then go spend it !!! that is the "Layman Way"...

Don't get me wrong, knowledge is power but skills, it takes years to develop...either you have it or you don't !!!

I am not against any seminars, it's just that I feel if you ain't making that much money, why spend it ??? bottomline, it all boils down to personality & dedication.

If you keep going to classes & seminars but don't really have it in you, then what is the point to that ???

Momentum Was Short Lived...

Hi all,

Nothing much came out from the latest "Shaven bottom" candlestick pattern which was detected earlier...it went down to about 40 plus pips & pull itself back up...hit my stops & got a measly 19 pips out of it...

Now that the market is too unpredictable with no clear signal on it's direction, we better stay on the sideline & wait...

As always this is the best time to do more research & some read up...see ya !!!

And I thought that today is a dull day, look at all the charts now !!! Volatility on almost all pound currency pairs !!! All gains are clock at 100 plus pips !!! too bad no candlestick pattern to warn us on the turn of event...

If only it was that easy !!! I could be a millionaire in a year !!!! hahahahaha...

Shaven Bottom Candlestick Pattern

Hello Again !

What a dull day it turns out to be, no interesting candle caught my eyes, but then...eureka !!! spotted an interesting candlestick pattern called the "Shaven Bottom"...

Guess what I did ???....hahahaha !!! Anyway let's see how this turns out later in the day. Planning to hold it for awhile, so I move my stops just in case of a price pullback.

Just tested out the new MetaTrader 5 demo account, as I have tested before with the MetaTrader 4 demo account...find that there is not much difference with the new MetaTrader 5 platform...

The only difference that you can see visually is in the layout that boast more cooler icons...other than that, the way it functions are some how the same...nothing fanciful...

As in it's predecessor the MetaTrader 4, the glitches are still there...maybe it's in the testing stages, but then again who knows...might be my PC that's making it go haywire or rather something else...either way you decide on which platform suits you best...

On a personal note...it might be a good signal direction for others to set up a trade, but then again, bear this in mind...news can also be generated to lead us with a false signal...so plan & keep yourself updated constantly if you are trading via news events...

There's a saying goes...."All's quiet on the western front"...but it does not always have to appear that way.

Bernanke Comments Provide Some Relief for Buck...too bad it took them so long to figure that one out...but then again it's still a choppy market...

Looks like the trade never went according to my plan...it never did rebound, took off like a blazing rocket !!! It broke my trendline !!! It broke my resistance line !!! & finally it broke my heart...nevertheless stops are already in place, sirens have already been activated...so i guess an exit is inevitable...

I am in a bit of a panic right now...as you can see in the above pics...the trendline has been broken...all my technical analysis on the trade setup just went out the window !!!

So all I can do now is wait for a possible bounce at the top & a re-break to the support line & retest it as resistance...if that happen, it might go in my favour...

What Was I thinking ??? Part 2

Currently I am in a lot of stress since the NFP news release. Data was not as I have expected & was caught with a price pullback that took out about 150+ pips when it reverse, slashing my earnings from a positive to a negative sign...

Again I am back to square one...nevertheless it never hit my stop-loss, so I am still in the game...Hopefully prices will be back in the trendline...

Same setup, same agenda & a whole lot of drive !!!

What Was I Thinking???

Hello everyone...

Just thought of showing this...I am take up a huge risk in my usual trading scenarios. Some might call it plain stupid or damn greedy...with an earning of a comfortable 300+ pips, "Why the hell didn't he exit???" above trade was open a few days back.

My reason was simple....if I have plotted out my setup properly & was not in anywhere close to triggering my stop-loss...then I will sang this song to you..."STICK TO YOUR GUNS, AIN'T NOBODY GONNA HURT YOU BABY". Cause I believe in high risk & high reward ratio...

In light to that notion, always have a clear objective & a solid plan. The RISK of a price pullback is always there, so be prepared.

Here is something that I am puzzled with while trying out my demo Metatrader 4.0 platform...

Can't really explain what happen, nevertheless it gives me another reason why I am not into Metatrader 4.o platform.
